April hatte ich die Ehre, bei dem Future Females Event in Berlin zum oben genannten Thema zu sprechen.\r\n\r\nDen wesentlichen Teil der Rede habe ich als eine Art Leitfaden aufgesetzt.\r\n\r\n<\/pre>\n<div id=\"attachment_733\" style=\"width: 1010px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/camillasblog.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/StefanStefancik.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-733\" class=\"wp-image-733 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/camillasblog.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/StefanStefancik-1024x575.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"562\" srcset=\"https:\/\/camillasblog.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/StefanStefancik-1024x575.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/camillasblog.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/StefanStefancik-300x169.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/camillasblog.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/StefanStefancik-768x432.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/camillasblog.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/StefanStefancik.jpeg 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-733\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Quelle: Stefan Stefancik<\/p><\/div>\n<p class=\"p3\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"s2\">About dynamic behind the struggle and how we are able to transform it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p3\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"s2\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Metaphor<\/span>: There is a ladder leading into a hole of negativity, but there\u2019s also a ladder leading out.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"s2\">Fear, mindfuck and disconnection are the three main components the first ladder consists of. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"s2\">Awareness, understanding and connection are the three main components for creating a positive dynamic within yourself. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span class=\"s1\">Downwards<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">Step 1<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span class=\"s2\"> Fear of failure<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">When we are afraid of failure our underlying insecurities come up. <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"li3\"><span class=\"s2\">We may think, that we don\u2019t have what it takes to realize our project. <\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li3\"><span class=\"s2\">We may believe, we aren\u2019t good enough at our field of expertise. <\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li3\"><span class=\"s2\">We even may feel like not knowing anything at all.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">Step 2<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span class=\"s2\"> Judgement<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s2\">We judge ourselves and others out of a place of our general mindset &#8211; driven by the fear of not being accepted. (We needed this kind of instinct to survive as prehistoric men.) <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s2\">When we feel insecure, we compare what we do and how we do it with the general attitude towards economical improvement, profit and performance. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s2\">Doesn\u2019t sound supportive? -&gt; We stamp it as bad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">Step 3<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span class=\"s2\"> Negative emotions<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s2\">The moment we judge ourselves negatively, we generate negative emotions from the judgmental thoughts in our minds. Very soon, there is no difference anymore between what we feel and what we think who we are. This leads to feeling miserable and being cut off from our vision for the project.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">Step 4<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span class=\"s2\"> Blocked creativity<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s2\">Creativity has its origin in our joy and comes to life through our curiosity. Fear is the opposite of joy. So, while we are occupied thinking and feeling bad about ourselves, we are not connected to our joy<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p8\"><span class=\"s2\">Therefore, we are not able to see <b>why<\/b> we were interested in this project in the beginning. Our vision gets blurry and we can\u2019t come up with any ideas. Even worse: We don\u2019t feel able to do anything anymore.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">Step 5<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span class=\"s2\"> Confirmation of judgements<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s2\">We immediately confirm any judgement. Whether it might be the complete lack of creativity or the negative image of ourselves in detail. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s2\">Suddenly, we feel any possible insecurity verified by this standstill and feeling of inability. We constantly prove our negative assumptions by taking our judgements as reality. As a result, we lose perception of actuality and the truth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">Step 6<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span class=\"s2\"> Depression<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s2\">In order to escape that bad feeling, we tend to suppress every feelings we have. When bad feelings overwhelm us, we don\u2019t want to feel anything anymore. <\/span><span class=\"s4\">Here, overthinking is a tool to distract us from the fear we have. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p8\"><span class=\"s2\">In serious cases, we want to numb our physical senses as well. This can be overeating, alcohol, drugs, or any other kind of excessive consumption.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">Step 7 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span class=\"s2\"> Being stuck<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s2\">Buying into our negativity has a variety of consequences. Restlessness and a lack of inner orientation are most often the matter. In general the discouragement (also called disheartenment) describes, what happens when we lose our self-confidence. Frequently stated as \u201efeeling empty\u201c.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s2\">Without the conscious connection to our heart, we are without passion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s5\">W<\/span><span class=\"s2\">hy are we falling into the whole of negativity in the first place? We somehow miss self-confidence. To be more specific: <\/span><span class=\"s1\">We miss self-awareness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\"><b>We tend to confuse ourselves with what we think of ourselves!<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">This said, we can now have a look at what helps us getting out of this confusion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span class=\"s1\">Upwards<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">Step 1<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span class=\"s2\"> Breathing<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s2\">The most important step to begin with, is breathing. It connects us with our body, calms us and allows us to watch what is going on in our minds from a higher point of view. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s2\">Feeling our body is the next crucial point. Emotions are directly reflected in our bodies. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s2\">Breathe in and breathe out, so you keep the flow \u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">Step 2<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span class=\"s2\"> Insight<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s2\">The second we recognize: \u201cI am not the fear. The fear is not me.\u201c It loses its power. Immediately. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s2\">Every judgement we have, is a thought. Consciously or unconsciously, we decide what we think. We can change our thoughts anytime because we <i>are<\/i> not our thoughts. Changing the perspective to get another view on it is helpful to realize that we are stuck in thinking.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s2\">All we need is awareness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">Step 3<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span class=\"s2\"> The pattern<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s2\">Our mind works in patterns. In order to discover the active pattern, we can ask ourselves:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"li6\"><span class=\"s2\">What is it, that I am feeling? <\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li3\"><span class=\"s2\">Which conviction must I have to experience this situation?<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li6\"><span class=\"s2\">Which thoughts are causing these feelings (or are at least connected to the feeling)?<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li6\"><span class=\"s2\">What will happen if I would <i>not<\/i> think this way? <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s2\">Describe what really is, not what should be, was or might be.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">Step 4<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span class=\"s2\"> Responsibility<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s2\">What did I do to get here? How did I create this experience? Let\u2019s see which decisions led to what we face now.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s2\">Realize who is involved and if these people really contribute to this. Check if you are clearly busy with only your responsibility or if you take over responsibility for others, too.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s2\">Rather than sinking into feelings of guilt, it gives us the freedom of (self-)developing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">Step 5<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span class=\"s2\"> Learnings<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s2\">We need the process to gain a higher level of awareness of who we are and why we felt and thought and acted in a certain way. This helps us seeing the greater good in every situation. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s2\">In this process we learn gratefulness for the experience. We understand why and for what this situation or this state was important.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">Step 6<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span class=\"s2\"> The Why<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s2\">We connect with our Why by realizing what change we want to see around us and by listening to our inner calling. By again breathing we get a clearer view, now that we discovered the pattern underneath.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s2\">It is useful to make so called mistakes to gain a deeper understanding of our own structure and the mechanisms we established to make sure that we get attention. We did this in order to survive &#8211; emotionally at least.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s2\">Being connected to our Why let us feel the passion again which drives us to create. <\/span><span class=\"s4\">Back in connection we experience the joy and playfulness of creation again<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p14\" style=\"text-align: right;\"><em><span class=\"s2\"> By knowing that we simply overthink any actions because we are afraid of failure, we are free to handle things differently.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"p14\" style=\"text-align: right;\"><em><span class=\"s2\"> By knowing that by aiming towards perfection we experience the decrease of our creativity, we can step back immediately and start to express ourselves (what we really think and feel) again.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\" style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"s2\">Step 7<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span class=\"s2\"> Action<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\"><span class=\"s2\">A practical guide would be:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li class=\"li6\"><span class=\"s2\">Make a rough structure of what you are planning to do.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li6\"><span class=\"s2\">Reduce those tasks to a doable size.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li6\"><span class=\"s2\">Prioritize what is important, urgent or both.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li6\"><span class=\"s2\">Start right now. (with whatever task possible at the moment)<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li8\"><span class=\"s2\"><span class=\"s2\">Keep going.<\/span><\/span>The important thing is to stay active. Whether we overthought it, whether it seemed imperfect or whatever judgement we have about it. Any small step is worth acknowledging.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Am 16.
